A Few months ago, while working an event as a vendor, I met two spectacular mamas. In true form (Chatting Kathy, as my Grandma would call me) I walked over to spark up a conversation and then mid sentence per usual (I can be random at times), I sampled their cookies and instantly was blown away. I could not stop talking about the taste, the texture, the delicate balance of soft but still had crunch. I instantly thought back to all of the cookies I've ever eaten, Oreos, Chocolate Chip, Vanilla Wafers, Famous Amos and others, and they pale in comparison to these cookies. I quickly forgot I was on a diet and sampled another flavor. THEN, we got to talking more, and it turns out that these cookies are lactation treats! Wait, What??? They taste this good and help with milk production? NO WAY, COULDN'T BE. I've had three babies who I've been blessed to be able to have a long nursing relationship with (still nursing my 9 month old) and I've picked up those bagged lactation cookies in Target/ Buy Buy Baby which tasted like cardboard. Matter of fact, I'd probably rather eat cardboard. They were tasteless, DRY, had a terrible after taste- and y'all, if it's edible, I usually eat it. But those things were straight up gross. So I did what any person would do, I purchased two bags. Blueberry Almond is my favorite, I kind of obsess over it, but they also make vanilla chia (my husband's favorite), and Chocolate Chip (my kids' favorite). YES, my WHOLE family LOVES these cookies. This business is small right now, but I firmly believe you will be seeing them in stores soon, because that cardboard NEEDS to be replaced with tasty treats we want to eat and help our milk production. We met up for a super fun collaboration to take pictures for their marketing and here is a sampling of what we created together. Are you drooling for these yet? Check out the links below and place an order- you won't be disappointed.
